Event Description

Produced by Digital Works and Wimbledon in Sporting History, this film offers an oral history of London's last dog-racing track, Wimbledon Stadium (1928 - 2017).
Featuring archival footage and the reminiscences of dog trainers, stadium staff, bookies and greyhound racing enthusiasts, it offers a unique insight into a lost sports venue which once drew vast crowds and was a key part of the Wimbledon economy.
